About Sunkeeper
The house
Sunkeeper is a light, modern four-bedroom home looking out to sea towards Looe. The open-plan living space has big glass doors onto a terrace, a log-burning stove, an 85-inch TV and a dining table for the whole group. Upstairs and down there are four bedrooms with king and super-king beds (two zip-and-link, so they can be made up as twins), plus three and a half bathrooms.

There's a separate chill-out room with a TV, a PS4 and an Xbox Series X, which is great for older children. There's also a whole-house sound system and a desk if you need to work. Outside there's a hot tub, a fire pit, a BBQ, an outdoor TV and an outdoor shower, all in a fully fenced private garden. Little ones are catered for with a travel cot and a high chair. There's free parking on the property, an EV charger and self check-in with a lockbox.
Downderry and the beach

Downderry is a quiet village on Cornwall's south-east coast. The dog-friendly beach, the South West Coast Path, the village shop, pubs, a tapas bar and beach cafés are all a short walk from the door. It's a lovely base for coastal walks, rock pooling and long lazy days, and for exploring the wider coast towards Looe.
House rules (the friendly bit)
Sunkeeper is for families and quiet groups. To keep it that way for every guest and for our neighbours:
- No parties or events, and no stag or hen groups, please.
- Quiet hours are 22:00 to 09:00.
- No smoking anywhere in the house.
- Up to 8 guests.
- Check-in from 16:00, checkout by 10:00.
- We use a Minut noise sensor that measures sound levels only and doesn't record audio or video.
Thank you. It's what keeps Sunkeeper such a peaceful place to stay.
